The Gorilla 48 inch x 48 inch (4’ x 4’) provides sufficient space to cultivate 4 mature plants, or alternatively, 16 small plants (although this may vary depending on plant type and recommended growing conditions). As most experienced growers know, ceiling height plays an important role in indoor cultivation, as there needs to be sufficient clearance for grow light systems (including lamps, ducts, filters, fans, etc.) but with enough space between the plant canopy and the lights to prevent overheating. For this reason, the Gorilla grow tent has the ability to adjust the height up or down in order to suit the grow light system installed and to meet the recommended lighting conditions of the plant being grown. With the Gorilla 1’ or 2’ extension kits (sold separately), the ceiling of the Gorilla grow tent can be moved from 6’ 11” anywhere up to 8’ 11”.

Another prominent issue for indoor growers is obtaining adequate ventilation for the grow tent. Gorilla address this problem with the inclusion of double cinching ducting ports which have been logically situated to best suit most grow light systems with closed loop air cooling capabilities. All of the ducting ports are fitted with adjustable micro mesh pre-filters which promise to let plenty of air in while simultaneously keeping all the bugs out, offering additional peace of mind for growers.

The strong steel frame of the Gorilla grow tent has the capacity to support 500 lbs. of weight, making it safe and sturdy for gardeners working inside the grow tent. The walls are composed of a thick fabric with excellent insulating properties and a highly reflective interior which will further boost plant production. This specialty fabric (rated at 1680D) is considered the “gold standard” for grow tents and is far superior to the thin fabric or even plastic which is also available.
